I'm clueless about Bolivia
Let that header be the caveat: I don't know what's going on and I don't really trust much of anything coming out of there right now. I do know that the parts of the American left I've come to have absolutely no use for are calling this a CIA-backed coup, as they tend to do when any Benevolent President for Life gets a cold, but stopped clocks and all.
I'm pretty sure that Morales getting the court to overturn term limits was a buster move. That part, at least, I feel confident labelling as wack. But stuff like this from the interim government doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
I wish I had a better take from the state of populist demonstrations right now than "when people get comfortable they start setting things on fire", but I don't. This keeps happening.
